Halloween Fabric Wreath

I had to make beanbags for a booth at my daughter's school's Harvest Fair and had a bunch of crazy, cheap Halloween fabric left over. I decided to use the foam form I bought last week at the dollar store to make a rag wreath. I gathered my supplies and began to cut 2 inch strips of fabric- it was so easy using a rotary cutter and self-healing mat and would have taken so much longer without them. The strips were about 16 inches long on average. Also, I would recommend hiring a babysitter if you have small children who cannot bear to leave you alone...Tie each fabric strip in a double knot around the wreath form, slightly overlapping the one before, and squish them together pretty tightly against each other. Oh, and also, don't lay your rotary cutter down for a second with small children around as they just might try to cut their ears off... see, I learn these things the hard way so you don't have to... or something like that. Keep tying and squishing until the whole form is covered (yeah, I guess that step is probably pretty obvious, but I needed something to say for this photo). When you are done, trim and tweak and twist and trim until you are happy with the shape and display. This was such an easy project and turned out so well, it was worth the state of the house after its morning neglect.
