I have not made a dress or sewn anything from a pattern (with the exception of some PJ bottoms) since I was in 4-H as a kid and swore off sewing. I found this cute, sparkly cupcake fabric and thought my daughter would love a little dress with it and found what looked like the easiest pattern around.
It was. I only had to rip very few seams and there were no zippers involved. I happened to have some lace and a pink satin button on hand for the finishing touches and am quite pleased with the result. Maybe I'll try something more ambitious next time.
